
American actor Thomas William Selleck. His first role was Thomas Magnum (private investigator) in Magnum. (1980-1988) and he was nominated 5 times for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead actor in the Drama Series. He was awarded the award in 1985. Since the year 2010, Selleck has co-starred as New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan in the series Blue Bloods. Since 2005, he's been playing Jesse Stone, a troubled police chief from a small town in New York City. In addition, he has been featured in nine television films that are based on Robert B. Parker novels. Selleck has also been featured in films in the role of Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architect and architect, in Three Men and a Baby (1987), and Three Men and a Little Lady (90).
