Charissa Thompson

Thompson quit FOX Sports, and began hosting the show for Versus Sports as well as Yahoo Sports. She anchored Versus' NHL studio coverage as well as recorded web-based videos on the popular Yahoo platform, leading its presence at some of the most prestigious sporting events like the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV and the BCS National Championship. Success in both arenas resulted in her being a part of ESPN in the summer of 2011 in which she was selected as one of the hosts on the network's newly conceived evening show "Numbers Never lie." She joined in July 2012 to join the "SportsNation" channel in the month of July. The show proved to be an enormous success and she stayed on until the end of May 2013 before returning to Los Angeles to launch FS1. An avid sports enthusiast, Thompson has also shown the impressive versatility to cross into the realm of entertainment of TV. In June 2014, following various part-time roles, Thompson was appointed as a permanent co-host for the Hollywood evening news magazine "Extra".
