Kari Samantha was an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28, 1967). Wuhrer began her career as she was just a teen. Her most well-known role is for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders and also her role as the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised within Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble who was employed as a payroll clerk, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. Her siblings include three. The singer began performing in nightclubs as a teenager and would sneak out of her house in order to perform. In her teens, she performed in nightclubs when she would sneak away and take a break. In the year she turned 13 young, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School. She then was enrolled in drama classes at the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College; plus, at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and renowned instructor Uta Hagen. Kari began acting when she was still in the teen years. Kari got her debut big break in the form of MTV Remote Control in 1987.
