Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: A celebrity who has strayed from country music to pop culture, turning into an iconic pop star that is set to last forever and conquering everywhere. Swift left country music like it was a second layer, showing that she's possibly the best pop-singer/songwriter in her generation. A person who has the ability to tap into the current zeitgeist and make it personal as well as be able to perform at the opposite. Her early songs including the neotribute for Tim McGraw were a testament to her talents. The second album Fearless in 2008 showcased a songwriter finding her voice, and also a larger fan base. The album ended up with a lot of appeal not just in the U.S. where it racked seven platinum singles due to the Top Ten hits Love Story and You Belong with Me but throughout the globe, performing especially well with Canada, the U.K. Canada and Australia. Swift's new album Speak Now, released just two years after the debut, further consolidated this momentum. It helped propel Swift to the heights of fame. In the three albums following -- Red 2012 1989, Red 2012 and Reputation 2017. her fame only grew. This was a sure sign she had moved to an entirely new world of pop which she was able to fit into. Her name was always at the top of pop even when she dropped her own style on her sister albums folklore & Evermore in the year 2020.
